St. Olav Festival has  a major program to include courses and master classes in early music, chamber music and the hours of prayer tradition.

St. Olav Festival Master Classes in song 2013 – Master Class and Workshop with Susanna Eken, Anne Margrethe Dahl, Marianne Rørholm and Christian Stubbe Teglbjærg. The course offers a one week workshop from 27.07 to 03.08 with four internationally highly recognised instructors from Denmark. The course is aimed at young professional singers or advanced students.

The XXXVI International Ringve summer course will be held on Sund Folkehøyskole in Inderøy, ca. 100 kilometers from Trondheim, in the period 21 - 27 July 2013. This is Europe’s longest running course for early music!

Nidaros Cathedral continues the tradition with a course in the Olav Office – the historic St. Olaf divine office in the Norwegian facilitation.
